What the Riviera costs
Sunbed prices on this coast range from about five euros to forty for the same afternoon, and the variation is not about the water. Here is the map of it.
- Know the top of the marketDhërmi's beach clubs run 2,000 to 4,000 lek for two loungers and an umbrella, and Ksamil's standard beaches run 1,500 to 3,000 lek a set. Those are the two most-photographed bays on the coast, and they price accordingly.
- Know the middleHimarë runs 700 to 1,200 lek a set. Palasë, four kilometres from Dhërmi with the same water, runs around 1,000 to 1,500. Borsh runs about 800 to 1,500 where there are sunbeds at all.
- Know the floorLukovë's seasonal sets run around EUR 5 to 10, the cheapest found anywhere on the coast, and Gjipe has no loungers worth the name because there is no road to bring them down.
- Understand why the gap existsBashkia Himarë, which covers Dhërmi, has published no approved price ceiling, so every club sets its own. Where a municipality has published one, prices cluster; where it has not, they do not.
- Budget the rest of the dayA beer in a bar runs 250 to 400 lek in 2026 in Ksamil, Himarë and Sarandë alike, against 150 to 250 in 2023. Himarë is the one place with a published all-in figure: 50 to 80 euros a person a day including a bed, meals and beach access.

Is the Riviera still cheap?
In parts. Ksamil's sunbed market roughly doubled between 2023 and 2026 and Himarë's rose by less than half that, so the honest answer is that the coast is splitting rather than rising evenly.
Where do I get the best value?
Palasë for the same water as Dhërmi at a third to half the price, Lukovë for the cheapest set on the coast, and Borsh if you want space more than you want a lounger.
Do I have to rent a sunbed at all?
No. Beach access itself is free everywhere on this list. The sunbed is the product being priced, and at Borsh and Gjipe there is often nothing to rent.
