No model, no guessing: the plan below is a function of your answers and our route registry. The warnings are the part worth reading.
A long weekend · 3 nights
Tirana, the bazaar at Krujë and a night in Berat. The shortest trip that is worth the flight. We picked it because it is the longest route your nights actually cover.
| Day | Base | Stops | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tirana | Tirana | Two stops and an unplanned afternoon. |
| 2 | Krujë | Krujë | Two stops and an unplanned afternoon. |
| 3 | Berat | Berat | Two stops and an unplanned afternoon. |
Reality checks
CheckThree nights does not reach the Alps or the Riviera
Both are four to five hours from Tirana before you have done anything, and the Alps add a ferry or a mountain road on top. A weekend that tries for either spends itself on the drive. This route stays inside two hours of the airport on purpose.
CheckBerat is the night, not the day trip
It is a two-hour drive each way and the town is at its best in the evening once the coaches have gone. Sleeping there is the whole difference between seeing Berat and visiting it.
